Chinese New Year Festival is the most important one in China.  The celebration is elaborate and it is filled with vibrant colors, beautiful sounds and exciting dances.  It is the time the villagers all come out to celebrate together with joy.  In this dance, the lanterns and the colorful ribbons symbolize the prosperity of the village.  The possession outside of the village temple further enhances the festive atmosphere.
